What is NABARD Grade A?

NABARD Grade A (Assistant Manager) is an officer-grade post at NABARD, primarily in the Rural Development Banking Service (RDBS), working on rural credit, agriculture and development-finance projects. There are separate streams (RDBS, Legal, Protocol & Security).

Eligibility and age

• Education: graduation with a minimum of 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) or a relevant post-graduation. A minimum percentage applies.
• Age: generally 21–30 years, with standard category relaxations.

Exam pattern

• Prelims: an objective test across multiple sections — Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English, Computer Knowledge, General Awareness, and the NABARD-specific Economic & Social Issues and Agriculture & Rural Development.
• Mains: an objective paper plus a descriptive English paper.
• Interview — the final merit is based on the Mains and Interview.

Salary
